The Clown-in-Chief wants to avoid facing criminal charges for his treason and other assorted crimes. He appointed the only one on the list of potential nominees that has written about that particular subject. Surprise! This toady agrees with that supreme legal scholar – The Donald, himself.
Brett Kavanaugh does appreciate that there is no legal or constitutional impediment to protect a president for being charged, questioned, indicted or convicted for criminal activity. It’s just that he thinks there should be such protections.
Why? Brett feels it would distract and disrupt a busy golfer president from his essential duties. Really? So, would not impeachment also interfere with the presidents schedule? While Congress is passing that law to protect the president, as Brett wishes, perhaps they should also take the time to protect the president from the constitutionally- imposed distraction of impeachment. Is that the best argument this great legal scholar can conjure?
He claims the president needs protection from such frivolities as our judicial system. And this, from someone who expects to be sitting at the pinnacle of that system? From my humble perspective, I would think that “We the People” are even more deserving of protection from a criminal playing with the levers of power, sitting in the Oval Office.
Perhaps we should not expect too much. When the appointer has such a dearth of brain cells, we should not expect too much brain power from his appointees. The White House’s use of such terms as ‘incredible intellect’ seem a mite off the mark.
Now, it appears we have been entertained by a dog-and-pony show. Trump has been going through the motions with a charade of a ‘beauty’ contest. He’s paraded before us the names of a dozen putative potential candidates when the outcome was never in doubt. A deal was made. Justice Kennedy promised Trump that he would retire if promised that Kavanaugh would be his replacement.
Why Brett? It seems there was a relationship involved. Brett has served as Kennedy’s law clerk.
Kennedy has a relationship with Trump. It is the strongest kind of relationship for Trump: financial. Trump’s genius son-in-law, Jared, paid two to three times the value when he purchased the 666 building (The Antichrist Building) for $1,800,000,000, yes, billion. Jared was involved in other matters than peace for in the Middle East. He was using his position to encourage Arab despots to bail him out. They helped but weren’t sufficiently stupid to make him whole.
Jared needed even more help. Just where would that come from? Justice Kennedy’s son? It seems Justin Kennedy was CEO of LNR Property. That firm specializes in restructuring troubled debt and oversees the mortgage. It’s a small world, isn’t it?
